Introduction

Kids can't drive until the age of sixteen. Can't buy ciggerets, knives, own a home, rent a car, get married or vote unitl the age of eighteen. By law we're not considered or treated like adults unitl we're eighteen. So why is it that the law allows children as young as fourteen and fifteen to be transferred into the adult court system eaisly. Children do not think like adults, act like adults and are not adults, so how is it the law can treat them like adults? When children make mistakes are we going to lock them up and throw them away forever? Children are our future right, so why is that the law allows a childs life to be taken away as young as fourteen or fifteen?
